No. Plumber Houston Pros is not a licensed contractor. It is not a plumber, not a plumbing company and not a contractor of any kind. We hold no Texas plumbing license, and we do not perform, supervise, schedule, price or guarantee any plumbing, gas or sewer work. This Houston guide does not offer to do any plumbing work.

That distinction matters in Texas. The Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners licenses plumbers statewide under Chapter 1301 of the Texas Occupations Code. Section 1301.351 says a person may do plumbing only with the required license, registration or endorsement, and that anyone who advertises or offers plumbing services must use a Responsible Master Plumber. Inside the City of Houston, plumbing permits are pulled by a master plumber registered with the city. Any work on your home should be done by a plumber who holds the licenses and registrations that apply to that job and location.

2. Check the license yourself in the Texas plumbing license search before you hire, even for a listed contractor.
3. Email us if you prefer. Questions about this guide or a correction: email hello@plumberhoustonpros.com. We do not take service requests and do not pass messages on to contractors. The contact page explains what you can email us about.
4. Any estimate, contract, payment and warranty is strictly between you and the contractor you choose.

For licensing, permits, utility rules and safety guidance we use official sources: the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners, the Texas Occupations Code, the Houston Permitting Center, Houston Public Works, CenterPoint Energy, the EPA, the CPSC, the Texas Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission.
• Cost guides are labeled. Cost figures come from published consumer cost guides and are shown as that guide's estimate, with its year. Unless a Houston source is cited, the cost ranges are national and are not prices we charge.
• Every number is linked. Houston pages cite the sources we actually used, so each figure can be traced. If a figure for Houston cannot be confirmed, it is not published.
